This award program requires that the recipient must attend an accredited four year college or University or an accredited two year technical college with preference for agriculture or agricultural related studies.
This award program is sponsored to provide scholarship assistance to the young people of Hampton County to pursue a higher education. It is hoped that this scholarship program will result in the encouragement of young people to develop knowledge and skills to assume positions of leadership in the community.
This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of character, demonstrated leadership abilities, extracurricular activities, as well as scholarship. The award check will be made payable to the institution he or she attends. This scholarship is contingent upon graduation.
Hampton County Farm Bureau Scholarship: One $500 scholarship
- Must be a member of Hampton County Farm Bureau
- Must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college pursuing a degree in agriculture or ag-related major
- Application may be submitted by mail, email or in person
