The scholarship program, in its 16th-year, generously provides students excellent opportunities to attend lectures and tours and to network with members of the perennial industry. Scholarship recipients receive a complimentary registration to all symposium lectures and tours, complimentary lodging in addition to a $1000 stipend. Students enrolled in a two or four-year program are eligible to apply. Applications for the 2015 program are now available and completed applications are due March 4, 2015.
What are the requirements?
A) Student should be majoring or minoring in horticulture or a related field.
B) Student should have at least one quarter or semester remaining following spring term 2014.
C) Student should have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
D) Recipients must be able to attend the Perennial Plant Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland July 27-August 1, 2015.
E) An interest in a career in perennials is preferred, but not required.
F) Undergraduate students only are eligible.
G) Prior PPA scholarship recipients are ineligible.
