The National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) Foundation is sponsoring scholarships for deserving students pursuing a career related to the precast concrete industry.
Precast concrete-related careers include professional positions in manufacturing facilities, architectural firms, the specifying community, engineering firms and the general construction industry.
Who May Apply?
Applications are open to any student with a four year undergraduate degree who will be enrolled in a graduate program at an academic institution for the next academic year following the applicaton deadline. The applicant's course of study should be in an academic field related to the building, construction, engineering, architecture, or precast concrete industry. Applicants must be enrolled in a Master's or PhD program.The academic institution must have a recognized related course of study.
What Must Accompany The Completed Application?
To guarantee the application will be reviewed by the NPCA Foundation Board of Directors, the following materials must be included with the application:
1. An undergraduate transcript through the latest grading period prior to the date of application.
2. A 300-500 word essay.
3. A letter of recommendation from a college or university faculty member.
4. A completed recommendation form from an NPCA member considered to be in good standing.
5. A copy of your acceptance letter to the graduate or PhD program. If you have not yet been accepted, please include a letter from a faculty member verifying you have applied.
