The AAAE Foundation grants five (5) $1,500, two (2) $1,000 and one (1) $500 scholarship(s) each year to a number of students with a junior class standing or higher, who are enrolled in an aviation program and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Eligibility is unrelated to membership in AAAE. Scholarship recipients receive a complimentary registration and recognition at the AAAE Annual Conference & Exposition or the F. Russell Hoyt National Airports Conference. The following selection criteria are used: academic records, financial need, participation in school and community activities, work experience and a personal statement. A recommendation from the school is also required.
