Applicant Requirements:
A) Full-time student from a four-year accredited college or university. Full-time status is defined by your college or university. It is determined by a specific number of hours/credits required to be eligible for full-time tuition.
B) Entering undergraduate junior or senior year, or graduate student (masters or doctorate). Student may be a sophomore, transfer student or in an accelerated learning program, but must be entering or beyond the second half of their undergraduate education or a graduate student by September 15 of the scholarship year.
Scholarship Focus:
Students who currently speak in public or who have an interest in furthering their career through public speaking are encouraged to apply.
In 1989, the Foundation established a scholarship program to encourage and reward juniors, seniors and graduate students who have a burning desire to pursue some aspect of professional speaking as a career. Each year the Foundation awards six $5,000 student scholarship grants in recognition of these individuals:
