Since 1991, Humana has invested more than $14.2 million to assist children of Humana associates who plan to pursue a college degree.
Humana Scholars receive annual awards of up to $3,000 that are renewable for three years or until they earn their undergraduate degree. Awards of $1,500 will be granted to children of part-time associates that are also renewable for three years or until they earn their undergraduate degree.
The scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.
Selection is highly competitive and based on academics, financial need, community service, and school leadership. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, veteran status, or marital status.
