The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Altria are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of the 47 public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the TMCF member-school network. Selected scholars will receive a need and merit-based scholarship of $6200 for the 2015-2016 academic school year, which will be used to cover the costs of tuition and fees, on-campus room and board and required textbooks. The funds are applied in the fall and spring semesters at $3100 per semester.
Altria Scholarship Requirements:
A) Be enrolled as a junior or senior at one of TMCF’s member- schools
B) Have a current grade point average of 3.5 or higher
C) Major in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science/Management, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering disciplines (including Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering & Mechanical Engineering) and Human Resources.
D) Have demonstrated leadership ability through a variety of measures
E) Declared interest in a corporate career
F) U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
