The EBS Pearl River Studies Scholarship is awarded to a student(s) pursuing a science or engineering degree at Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU) in Hammond LA.
Scholarship Overview
The Harvey L. Foster Foundation for Science Education will award one or more scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year of up to $2000 to deserving students. The scholarship is for one year. Qualifying students are those already enrolled in Southeastern Louisiana University and who are either pursing an undergraduate or graduate degree in the field of science, specifically the areas of biology, chemistry, or engineering. This scholarship will be awarded to the top applicant(s) as recommended by the Foundation’s Board of Directors during the Spring of 2016.
The scholarship award will be sent directly to Southeastern after enrollment verification for the Fall of 2016.

The Harvey L. Foster Foundation is an independent, tax-exempt, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing science based educational incentives, opportunities, and assistance to those within our community as bounded by the four parishes of St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, and Washington. Our goals are to encourage academic excellence in our local school districts by providing equipment or funding to educators not available through traditional local, state, or federal sources.
