This scholarship is available to students entering their junior year of college, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an academic field related to promotional products and expressing an intent to enter the promotional products industry after graduation. The scholarship is renewable for the senior year of college, provided that the student meets the minimum GPA requirement and current employment in the promotional products industry is maintained by the student or parent. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of GPA, essay, resume, letter of recommendation and optional financial need. Application deadline is March 15.

PPEF is an educational, charitable, nonprofit organization that awards college scholarships to students who have a parent working in the promotional products industry or who are working for a company in the industry. Since 1989, PPEF has awarded $3,347,000 in college scholarships to 1,788 students.

DESCRIPTION

The Promotional Products Education Foundation scholarship program was established to recognize and encourage scholarly ability and academic performance among the sons and daughters of individuals whose employment, business, career or profession encompass the sale, marketing, manufacturing or distribution of promotional products. The program also provides scholarship assistance for individuals who are employed in the promotional products industry.

The Chairman's Scholarship is valued at $2,750 annually for the junior and senior years of college. Recipients must meet renewal criteria to receive payment for their senior year.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants for the Chairman's Scholarship must be entering their junior year of college, actively pursuing a bachelors degree in an academic field related to promotional products and expressing a clear intent to enter the field as a career.
  • Scholarship awards funded by PPEF cannot be used for any other purpose other than to help cover tuition, books, lab fees and educational supplies.
  • The scholarship is renewable for the candidate's senior year, provided the student demonstrates satisfactory progress toward the designated degree and meets the required criteria for scholarship renewal.
  • PPEF's eligibility requirements must prevail at the time of enrollment in college.
  • Students must be attending college in Fall of 2024 to apply for this year's awards.
  • PPEF does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, national origin or disability.
