Kentucky Higher Education Teacher Scholarship Program

Awards Available: 10

The Teacher Scholarship Program provides financial aid to Kentucky students pursuing initial teacher certification at participating Kentucky colleges.

Student must:

A) Be a U.S. citizen.

B) Be a Kentucky resident.

C) Be admitted into a teacher education program at a participating school.

D) Be enrolled full-time unless enrolled for the final term of a teacher certification program and less than full-time enrollment is required to complete the program.

E) Demonstrate financial need.

F) Meet school's satisfactory academic progress requirements.

G) Teach one semester in Kentucky for each semester the scholarship is received.

H) Repay the scholarship plus interest if does not complete program and service requirement.
