Scholarship essay contest topic and eligibility
The Kenneth P. Carp college scholarship is open to individuals who are planning to attend or currently enrolled in an accredited United States college or university. In order to participate, applicants must submit a 500-word essay answering the following question:
"Although there are many positive reasons to avoid Probate, there are practical reasons to take advantage of a court supervised process. Please discuss the process, and explain in detail which situations probate is a good decision, and which situations probate is not a good solution."
