EverSpark Interactive is proud to support deserving students with the launch of our first JJ Hennessey Honorary Epilepsy Scholarship. Named in honor of co-founder Jason Hennessey’s son JJ who lives with epilepsy, this $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one high-achieving student with epilepsy.
All of us at EverSpark are devoted to raising awareness around epilepsy and furthering accessibility for those who live with epileptic seizures. We understand that college classes and campuses can bring special challenges for students with epilepsy that other students do not face. We believe that all students should have an equal opportunity to succeed and we hope that the JJ Hennessey Scholarship will help a dedicated student overcome these challenges and earn their degree.
The JJ Hennessey Scholarship is available to achievement-oriented students who meet two key criteria:
A) You are currently enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited college or university, and
B) You have been diagnosed with epilepsy (any form)

Additional Requirements
A) Applicants must have a minimum 2.8 GPA
B) Applicants must submit an official copy of their transcript, an application form and a video essay no longer than 2 minutes on one of the topics below.

A) Tell us about a time that epilepsy created an obstacle or special challenge and how you overcame it.
B) How has living with epilepsy affected your goals and dreams for the future?
C) How did you learn to accept your epilepsy and how has this acceptance changed you?
