The Harry E. Tope Memorial Aviation Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to a selected person to advance his or her education or skills in the field of aviation.

This Fund was established to honor the memory of Harry E. Tope Jr. and his passion for flying; to provide financial assistance to worthy individuals who wish to pursue a career or hobby in aviation and to promote continued interest and education for private pilots.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

A) Be interested in advancing their education in the field of aviation, OR

B) Be interested in advancing their career skills in the field of aviation.

C) Be a resident of the Mid-Michigan Area (Isabella County, Gratiot County, Mecosta County, Clare County, Midland County or Montcalm County).
