The Partners in Education Scholarship was established by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation's board of trustees for the purpose of investing in the higher education of permanent residents of Kalamazoo County or students graduating from a Kalamazoo County High School.
Must be a student who is a permanent resident of Kalamazoo County or a student graduating from a high school within Kalamazoo County. Must be planning to enroll full time in a regionally accredited educational institution for a bachelor's degree program, associate's degree program or a trade, technology, vocational or certificate program within the State of Michigan.
If the student is a graduating high school senior planning to pursue a bachelor or associate degree, they must demonstrate academic achievement with a 2.80 to 3.80 GPA. In addition they must submit SAT/ACT score(s). If the applicant is not a graduating high school senior they must provide an official cumulative high school or college transcript, through the most recent term, if courses have been completed within the past five years.
