Previous recipients can apply through the regular application process.
Eligibility Requirements:
A) Plan to start, continue, or advance education in the field of nursing or a nursing-related field (such as a Nurse Practitioner, Mid-Wife, or Nurse Anesthetist). Applicants currently enrolled in college in a nursing program will be given preference.
B) Proof of acceptance in an accredited Nursing Program
C) Full or part time enrollment at an accredited Michigan college or university
D) Proof of financial need
Who Can Apply:
A Jackson County resident or current employee of a Jackson County health care facility who is a:
A) Graduating high school senior.
B) Student already enrolled in and taking undergraduate classes.
C) Adult returning to college.
D) Student planning to attend graduate school.
E) Student already enrolled in and taking graduate classes.
F) Previous recipient.
Scholarship Award:
Up to $5,000
Scholarship Use:
Tuition, books, fees, or other academic needs (excluding room and board expenses) and/or child care costs
