BACKGROUND:
The Orpha J. & Ernest Milbradt Scholarship was established to assist students attending KSU or KU.
AMOUNT:
One new $500 scholarship will be awarded. This scholarship is eligible for an annual renewal for up to three years.
GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS:
Kansas high school seniors attending either KSU or KU
CRITERIA:
A) Student must attend either KSU or KU.
B) Student must have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or better (4.0 scale).
C) Student must have participated with success in extracurricular school activities (e.g., forensics, music, athletics).
D) Student must have exhibited a strong sense of community involvement (volunteer activities, church activities, etc.).
E) Student/parents must provide evidence of financial need, which is to be a determining factor in cases of equal merit.

RENEWALS:
Scholarship recipients are eligible to apply for renewal by meeting the following criteria:
A) Student must attend either KSU or KU.
B) Student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better (4.0 scale).
C) Student/parents must provide evidence of continuing financial need.
D) Student must be continually enrolled as a full-time student.
E) Student must be making reasonable progress toward an undergraduate degree, regardless of course of study.
F) Student may receive no more than three annual scholarship renewals (i.e., a total of four annual scholarships).
Awards Available: 1
