The Blake Chapman Flight Scholarship was created by a group of individuals who wanted to give students in Teton County, Idaho the chance to learn how to fly. This scholarship covers the full cost of instruction and materials for students to obtain their private pilotís license, a value of approximately $8,500 each. Applicants must be 16 years of age by May 1st of the year in which they apply and must demonstrate good academic standing, community service/involvement, financial need, and a commitment to becoming a pilot. Applicants must be able to be devoted full-time to training at least 4 days a week.
