Eligibility
California resident pursuing a Master's or Doctorate Degree in an area of public service.
Award
The Grant is a total of $6,000.00 per year, until graduation, and for a maximum of two years. $3,000.00 is paid in August and $3,000.00 is paid in February. The second payment and all future payments are dependent upon proof of satisfactory progress in the form of a letter from your Dean or Department Head. This letter is due in our office by the end of February and August to ensure timely payment. This grant is not renewable.
Campus
Any accredited college or university located in California offering the required course of study.
Deadline Date
The Foundation will begin accepting applications the 1st Monday of January. Your application must be complete and in our office on or before 3:00 pm on the 3rd Friday of February. There are no exceptions.
Selection
The Scholarship Committee reviews all applications and selects the recipient(s) of the scholarship. All applicants are notified of the outcome in writing.
