COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS FOUNDATION /FONDATION DE COMMUNICATION ET RELATIONS PUBLIQUES
The Foundation manages a number of initiatives established with the involvement of funding partners and is preparing for a national fund-raising campaign to expand its support to educational initiatives across Canada. Offerings include:
1. Management of the Torchia Scholarship in Public Relations/Communications in partnership with Torchia Communications. The Scholarship will be awarded to a student who has chosen to study public relations/communications in one of Canada’s two official languages that is not his/her first language or mother tongue. The student will be entering his/her second year of study in a Canadian university degree program or multi-year diploma program in public relations/communications that meets recognized standards of education.
2. Management of the Ruth Hammond Scholarship in partnership with Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax
3. Management of the Lou Cahill Scholarship in Communications in partnership with the Enterprise Group, Toronto, and Brock University, St. Catharines
